Mr. Dereje Bezabeh
Eezer Project Coordinator
Dereje Bezabeh has broad experience in development work across government, non-governmental, and private sector institutions. He began his career as an English teacher at Dire Dawa Alliance Française School and later served in the Social and Labor Affairs Office, where he worked in social welfare, community development, and NGO coordination, including monitoring and evaluating projects implemented in Addis Ababa.
He also served for many years with World Vision Ethiopia in a range of roles, including Senior Social Development Officer, Partnership and Community Empowerment Coordinator, Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist, and Faith and Development Specialist. Through these roles, he gained extensive experience in community development, project design, capacity building, and training facilitation, working across Ethiopia and in other African countries including Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda.
At Elnet Foundation, Dereje serves as Eezer Project Coordinator, contributing to efforts to improve maternal health and safe access to care with the conviction that no mother should die while giving birth.
